Delegation from University of Granada at UdSU

UdSU is hosting the delegation from University of Granada in the framework of VI International Week at UdSU dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the UdSU partnership with the Keimyung University, University of Szeged, University of Granada, University of Helsinki, and the 30th anniversary of the UdSU international affairs. The delegation from University of Granada consists of the Rector Prof. Pilar Aranda Ramirez, the Vice-Rector for Internationalization Prof. Dorothy Kelly, Prof. Quero Gervilla Enrique, and Prof. Suarez Cuadros Simon.

On October, 28 there was a meeting of the delegation with UdSU Rector Prof. Galina V. Merzlyakova. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Education and Extra-Curricular Activities Mikhail M. Kibardin, the Vice-Rector for Research and Strategic Development Alexander M. Makarov, the Head of International and Public Relations Office Maria I. Beznosova, the Director of the Institute of Language and Literature Nadezhda V. Kotova, the Director of the Institute of Arts and Design Marina V. Botya, the Director of International Cooperation Department Larisa V. Evseeva, the Associate Professor of the Institute of Language and Literature Tatiana R. Kopylova, and the Associate Professor of the Institute of Language and Literature Irina A. Votyakova.

During the meeting the results of the partnership were discussed – long-time research cooperation, academic exchange programs, grants programs, and double degree diploma program. Prof. Pilar Aranda Ramirez mentioned that Russia has always been a pioneer as regards participation in programs launched by University of Granada, and one of their priority is to develop partnership with Russia and UdSU in particular.

The meeting resulted in signing of two agreements between UdSU and University of Granada – the framework agreement and academic exchange agreement. In addition, the Erasmus + agreement was signed. On October, 29 there will be held the Round-Table conference “International Dialogue in Modern Education”, where Prof. Pilar Aranda Ramirez , the Rector of University of Granada and Prof. Dorothy Kelly, the Vice-Rector of University of Granada, are going to give speeches on following topics: “Relations of University of Granada and Russian Federation: Present Days and Perspectives”, “New Trends in Higher Education Internationalization: Initiative of European Universities and European Commission”.
